MICHAEL SNYDER PHOTOGRAPHY

This weekend I will be uploading my photo “Gasparilla Art Festival 2011” as my entry for the International Photography Competition II at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa. Many family and co-workers love this piece and I even use it on one of my credit cards. It was a beautiful day and turned out to be beautiful. Many people who see it ask me where I was I tell them downtown Tampa, they gasp and say, “I didn’t know it looked that good downtown”. A beautiful day at The Dali Museum in St Petersburg Florida. If you have not yet had a chance to visit this beautiful museum and the wonderful collection of Salvador Dali you are truly missing out on an exciting experience. The new home of his outstanding works is just as beautiful. In the places section you will see additional pictures of this beautiful structure, so have a peak at the outside. You have to go to see the wonderful works inside.

I wanted to drop a note to introduce myself. I am Michael Snyder and this is my website/photoblog. I am President of the ToxicFree Foundation whose main goal is to help educate   people on toxic chemicals found in everyday personal care, cosmetics and household products. I am also a Licensed Insurance Agent with Humana and am currently attending The University of Tampa. I have served in the Air Force and also the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. I have recently rediscovered my passion for photography using a Pentax K-x and my new Pentax Optio WG-1 GPS. I am also a new Geocacher and looking forward to exploring the world with my camera.
